Do you run a language school? Are you a teacher or studying to be one?
Being a teacher is a unique experience. Quite the opposite of many other professions, you are in constant contact with your clients, but practically never work with your peers. Also, many teachers feel that directors with a business background don’t always fully understand their needs – those that do are sought after and a pleasure to work for.
I strongly believe that teachers, and those in the business of teaching, need to work together to maintain a high standard. Even if you are not planning to be a teacher forever, you can benefit tremendously from approaching the profession with a high level of curiosity about the possibilities and potential of both your students and yourself.
To this end I organise and run special workshops and roundtable-style forums for teachers to interact (with each other and their employers), share experiences, and hone their skills
